Here’s how to shake, stir, and sip your way through the silly season!

Ingredients:

  • 60ml white rum

  • 30ml fresh lime juice

  • 2 tsp raw sugar

  • 10 fresh mint leaves

  • Soda water

  • Crushed ice

Instructions:

  1. Rim a glass with lime juice the dip into Zesty Citrus Sugar

  2. In a glass, muddle the mint leaves, lime juice, and sugar.

  3. Fill the glass with crushed ice, pour in the rum, and top with soda water.

  • 240ml Water

  • 180ml Granulated Sugar

  • 4 strips Orange Peel

  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks

  • 5 Whole Cloves

  • 80ml freshly squeezed Orange Juice

  • Combine water, sugar, orange peels, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and orange juice in a saucepan over medium heat.

  • Stir until sugar dissolves, then simmer 20-30 minutes until thickened.

  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow to cool. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a glass jar. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, or add a splash of vodka to the syrup and store for up to a month.

    For the Spiced Pomegranate Margaritas:

  • 120ml Tequila blanco or reposado

  • 60ml fresh Lime Juice

  • 60ml Spiced Orange Syrup

  • 30ml Pomegranate Juice

  • 30ml Triple Sec

  • Pinch of Salt

  • Rim the glass with Fancy Floral Salt

  • Combine tequila, lime juice, spiced orange simple syrup, pomegranate juice, triple sec, and a pinch of salt in a cocktail shaker.

  • Allow the gingerbread syrup to cool completely then pour into a jar and keep in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.

  • Add vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, and gingerbread syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice.

  • Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass.

  • Rim the glass or sprinkle crushed gingerbread cookies on top for a festive finish.
